Refunds and cancelling
This page gathers, in one place, what the Liftline subscription terms already say about the price, billing, cancelling and refunds. It is a plain-English summary of the same clauses, written for a business owner rather than a lawyer. It adds nothing: no extra fee, no extra timeline and no promise the terms do not already contain. The clause numbers on this page are the clause numbers in the terms.
Terms version 1.0, dated 20 September 2026. They have not yet been reviewed by a South African attorney.
1. What it costs and how billing works
Same words as clause 2 of the subscription terms.
R2,500 per month, billed monthly. The price is in South African rand. Billing runs month by month, and there is no fixed term and no setup fee.
We confirm the payment method with you when you come on board, and each month is billed at the start of that month's cycle.
2. The month you have started is committed
Same words as clause 3 of the subscription terms.
Once a month's cycle has started, that month is committed and is not refunded, including if you cancel part-way through the month. In other words: you can stop the subscription at any point, but the month you are already in gets paid for and used.
3. Cancelling
Same words as clause 4 of the subscription terms.
You can cancel at any time by emailing liftline-c1d374a6@ctomail.io. One line is enough.
Cancellation takes effect after the current paid month has run. So if you cancel on the 8th, the month you are in is served out, and no further month is billed. There is no notice period beyond that and no cancellation fee.
4. If something goes wrong
Same words as clause 8 of the subscription terms.
Email us and we'll fix it. If we can't put something right, you can cancel under clause 4 and nothing further is billed. If we are unable to provide the service for a month you have paid for, we will refund that month.
5. What this means in one paragraph
Same words as clause 3 and 8 of the subscription terms.
The month you are already in is committed and is not refunded, and the refund the terms promise is for a month you have paid for that we were unable to provide. Those are the only two positions the terms take on money. We do not promise a particular number of extra enquiries, sales or rankings, because nobody can know that in advance (clause 7) — so the subscription is not a money-back arrangement if the testing does not produce the result you hoped for.
