Subscription terms

These are the terms for the Liftline subscription, written to be read by a business owner rather than a lawyer.

Version 1.0, dated 20 September 2026. They have not yet been reviewed by a South African attorney.

1. What you are subscribing to

Liftline tests the wording on your website — the headline, the calls to action, the order visitors read the page in — and keeps whichever version brings in more enquiries. It is an ongoing monthly service: the testing carries on for as long as you are subscribed.

The testing starts when you come on board. Liftline is a new business, and you may be among its first clients.

2. What it costs and how billing works

R2,500 per month, billed monthly. The price is in South African rand. Billing runs month by month, and there is no fixed term and no setup fee.

We confirm the payment method with you when you come on board, and each month is billed at the start of that month's cycle.

3. The month you have started is committed

Once a month's cycle has started, that month is committed and is not refunded, including if you cancel part-way through the month. In other words: you can stop the subscription at any point, but the month you are already in gets paid for and used.

4. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time by emailing liftline-c1d374a6@ctomail.io. One line is enough.

Cancellation takes effect after the current paid month has run. So if you cancel on the 8th, the month you are in is served out, and no further month is billed. There is no notice period beyond that and no cancellation fee.

5. What is included

  • Continuous testing of the wording on your pages: headlines, opening lines, buttons and the order visitors read them in.
  • We write each version that goes on your site.
  • A short monthly email in plain English: what we tested, what we saw, and what we kept.
  • Answers by email when you have a question about the work.

Anything we haven't agreed in writing — a new website, paid advertising, design work, printing — is not part of this subscription.

6. What we need from you, and what you keep

We need your website address, and a way to get changes onto the pages we are testing — how that works we agree with you at the start. We also need to be able to reach you by email.

You keep your website, your domain name, your content and your customer list. Nothing of yours is transferred to us, and if you cancel, the wording that is on your site at that point stays there.

7. What we don't promise

We don't promise a particular number of extra enquiries, sales or rankings, because nobody can know that in advance. We promise the work described above: the testing keeps happening, and you can see what we changed.

We also won't make up results, client numbers or testimonials to persuade you — we don't have any clients yet, and the home page says so.

8. If something goes wrong

Email us and we'll fix it. If we can't put something right, you can cancel under clause 4 and nothing further is billed. If we are unable to provide the service for a month you have paid for, we will refund that month.

9. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, the version number and date at the top change with them, and we tell you by email before the change affects you. The terms you are on stay the terms you were billed under for the month you are in.

10. Who you are dealing with

Liftline is a South African business. All correspondence is by email: liftline-c1d374a6@ctomail.io. We have no phone number.

We are still confirming the company details that would normally appear here (registered name and registration number). Until they are on this page, ask us by email and we will give you the current details in writing.
